STEM Competition (Summer 2021) Winner - Hermione (8F)
Congratulations to Hermione in 8F for winning the competition! She created a presentation about the effect of vinegar on coins, including a step-by-step method.
STEM Competition (Summer 2021) - Quratulain (8E)
Congratulations to Quratulain in 8E for getting 2nd place! She created Python code which stimulates a countdown time on a BBC Microbit.
STEM Competition (Summer 2021) - Tamara (8E)
Congratulations to Tamara in 8E for getting 3rd place! You can see her full presentation by clicking below. She investigated the effect that the number of those vaccinated has on the spread of a disease.
STEM At Home - Kuba 13.8
Kuba has created an experiment tutorial video which guides you through a simple experiment which you can do at home. Using the experiment you can determine the speed of sound.

Scientific Unsung Hero - Hariram and Kuba
As part of STEM Enrichment at Drayton Manor, and a competition launched by a college in the University of Oxford, Hariram and Kuba created a video explaining the story of Alice Ball, an unsung hero in the scientific community.
Unsung Hero - Muhammad and Rathurshan
Muhammad and Rathurshan participated in the Unsung Heroes Challenge launched by a college at the University of Oxford. As part of this challenge, they presented a presentation about their unsung hero, Satyendra Nath Bose. You can view their presentation by clicking below.

In 2021, the Digital Ambassadors undertook research into screen time usage across Drayton Manor High School.

Congratulations to Theron (7E), Futura (7E) and Amazia (7E) for creating this beautiful bridge. The clear attention to detail invested makes it a work of art as well as a strong and stable bridge!

STEM Competition (Summer 2022) Winner - Payal (8I), Sophia (8L) and Emmanuel (8I)
Well done to Payal (8I), Sophia (8L) and Emmanuel (8I) for creating this insightful and detailed presentation into the tetanus toxoid vaccine.
STEM Competition (Spring 2023) Winner - Oishikha (7I)
Well Done to Oishikha for creating this elaborate homemade board game that took 1st place. We were blown away by the level of detail.
STEM Competition (Spring 2023) Winner - Justin (7L)
Well done to Justin for creating this complicated Mathematical 2-4 Player Board Game that claimed Second Place. We loved the homage to Snakes and Ladders.
STEM Competition (Spring 2024) Winner - Alex (12.7)
Well done to Alex Braun (12.7) for managing to find formulas for 97 out of 100 numbers from 1 to 100 using just the digits in 2024! On top of that, 51 out of the 97 were actually completed with 2, 0, 2, and 4 being in the correct order within the formula.
